Position Summary:
As an Experienced Drain Tanker Operator, you will play a vital role in our operations, utilizing your expertise in handling JHL and Jet-Vac units to effectively manage drain cleaning and maintenance tasks. Your extensive experience in operating these specialised machines will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and providing excellent service to our valued clients. You will be responsible for conducting drain tanker operations, assisting with blockage clearance, and maintaining drainage systems to uphold the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Operate JHL and Jet-Vac units efficiently and effectively to conduct drain tanker operations, including emptying and cleaning sewer lines, septic tanks, and interceptors.
- Assist with the clearance of blockages using high-pressure water jetting techniques, ensuring thorough and effective removal.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspection of drainage systems to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement appropriate strategies for resolving complex drainage problems.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Complete all necessary documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure optimal performance of JHL and Jet-Vac units.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in operating JHL and Jet-Vac units for drain cleaning and maintenance purposes.
- In-depth knowledge of drain tanker operations, including the use of high-pressure water jetting techniques and vacuum systems.
- Familiarity with different types of drainage systems, including sewers, septic tanks, and interceptors.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address operational issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in outdoor environments and potentially challenging conditions.
